I think the biggest advantage of this rubber is it controliblity. It seem that when you receive someone shot, when the TT ball have contact with Hurricane 3 at that moment seem longer. That buy you more time for you better perpare for your next shot. Yet, you may say that the respond time is slow but think it in this way if you are those players that like to play left, right and left than your shot can be more accurate. May be the rubber is a bit thicker. Also, the spin is very good as well. That create varity for your shot.
One down side which is the power, because of the thickness of the rubber it is very hard to create power spontaneosly compare with Hurricane 2. To overcome this problem is you need to create enough power for the shot.
